In the post-pandemic era, the hybrid teaching mode, combining online and offline elements, has been widely adopted in higher education. While there is a considerable body of research on blended learning, most studies have primarily focused on students, with relatively limited research on teachers. This paper takes a teacher-centered approach and employs literature study and the Delphi expert investigation method to establish indicators. We then use the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine the weights of these indicators. The research results indicate that the effectiveness of hybrid teaching has the greatest impact on teacher satisfaction, and teachers highly value improvements in students' professional knowledge. Based on the findings, this paper provides recommendations for blended learning, with the hope that researchers can benefit from them.

Human anatomy and physiology is a compulsory foundational course for pharmaceutical undergraduates. According to the key role of Human Anatomy and Physiology in laying medical foundation and bridging pharmaceutical major courses, while conducting scientific research and innovative thinking with “Human Physiology-Human Pathology-Pharmacology” as the main line, we tried to establish the “Four step” literature review writing training method to improve the ability of “summarizing literature”, “writing format guidelines”, “identifying scientific questions”, and “fostering innovative thinking” for English pharmacy students in the bilingual class of Human Anatomy and Physiology to meet the training requirements. Statistical analysis of the results indicates that this training method significantly enhances students’ research-oriented and innovative thinking abilities, as well as their English research writing skills. Our study elucidated the role of “Four step” method in improving the literature review writing ability of Pharmaceutical English majors, lay a foundation for its application in other pharmaceutical majors, and enhance the students’ professional competence.
