Abstract:

As a core course for pharmacy majors, medicinal chemistry is of great importance. Traditional rote memorization-based teaching methods focus on basic knowledge but neglect the cultivation of students’ innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities, making it difficult to meet the demand for innovative pharmacy talents under the interdisciplinary development of “New Engineering, New Medicine, New Agriculture, and New Liberal Arts”. Accordingly, there is an urgent need to redesign the course to emphasize “higher-order, innovation and challenge” (“Two Characteristics and One Degree”), fostering students’ independent thinking and creativity. However, identifying discussion topics and conducting effective classroom discussions that reflect the “Two Characteristics and One Degree” teaching philosophy is a challenge. Taking the practical teaching of anti-diabetic drugs as an example, this paper discusses how to integrate innovative and challenging problems with the flipped classroom approach, effectively addressing deficiencies of traditional teaching models. This study is significant for cultivating pharmacy talents with innovative thinking and offers practical new ideas for reforming medicinal chemistry courses.

摘要:

药物化学作为药学专业的核心课程,其重要性不言而喻。传统以基础知识讲解为重点的填鸭式教学重记忆轻理解,忽视了对学生创新思维、分析问题和解决问题能力的培养,难以满足“新工科、新医科、新农科、新文科”融合背景下对药学创新人才的需求。在此背景下,课程亟需体现“高阶性、创新性、挑战度”(两性一度),培养其独立思考与创新能力。然而,在课堂教学中讨论哪些问题以及如何开展讨论,教学才能体现出“两性一度”的教学理念是教学过程中的难点和痛点。笔者以抗糖尿病药物的实践教学为例,探讨了如何将创新性和挑战度问题与翻转课堂模式教学模式结合,有效解决了传统教学模式的不足。该研究对于培养具有创新思维能力的药学人才具有积极意义,为药物化学课程教学改革提供了可实践的新思路。
