Abstract:

Red culture is the culture produced by Chinese nation during the historical period, and its revolutionary spirit is still popular in contemporary era. The promotion of red culture in library can cultivate the ideology of young college students and improve the professional skills of librarians. Reading promotion of red culture should start with building red base, organizing bibliography and enhancing students’ participation. Finally, it should be combined with current affairs and politics to maintain the long tail effect.
