Abstract:
The medical device is one of the most active and striking fields of global scientific and technological development and investment. Chinese medical device industry has developed rapidly, but there is still a gap compared with developed countries. Therefore, we badly need top talents with professional background of biomedical engineering. As one of the most important strategies of opening up education to the world, Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools can achieve the goal of cultivating international top talents. Based on the current situation, Shenyang Pharmaceutical University and Trine University jointly hold the Biomedical Engineering Undergraduate Education Program to provide strong support for cultivating top talents with international vision in the field of medical devices, and bring vitality to the development of the pharmaceutical industry and the cause of health.

摘要:
医疗器械行业是当今全球科技发展与投资最活跃和最引人注目的领域之一。我国医疗器械行业发展迅猛,但同美国等发达国家相比还有很大差距,发展空间巨大,我国医疗器械行业的发展急需具有生物医学工程专业背景的高端人才。作为高校教育对外开放的重要策略之一,中外合作办学能够实现培养具有符合国际标准的高端复合型人才的目标。基于行业背景,沈阳药科大学与美国特莱恩大学合作举办生物医学工程本科教育项目,为培养在医疗器械领域具有国际化视野的高端复合型人才提供强力支撑,为医药行业及“大健康”事业的发展注入新的活力。
